Mom (i.e., Me)
Stay-at-Home Mom, I love a good cup of tea, a good book, and a knitting project, and hold a place in my heart for anything Irish, attachment parenting philosophies, and natural lifestyle alternatives.
DH is a delightful dad, who has the amazing opportunity to work from home, meaning we get to spend lots of time as a family! Please don’t read: all day. He does, you know, work. But when rush hour involves going up and down the stairs… it’s pretty sweet 🙂 Rather introverted (like me, in fact), he enjoys hockey, listening to music, shopping old vinyls, and otherwise relaxing at home.
Also known as A, or Miss A, she is an active 2.5 yrs toddler who keeps us busy, busy, busy! Unlike her parents, she is much more on the extroverted side (how did that happen?? Must be something I ate.), meaning that we usually try to get together with friends in the neighbourhood and in our area in the AM. She can be very temperamental, highly spirited, and certainly keeps us on our toes – but it keeps life interesting. 🙂
AKA Miss C, was born almost 6 months ago! Not much to say about her personality yet, except that she seems the polar opposite of her older sister. She’s definitely a great addition to our family 😉
So now we do have a pet to introduce! We got Azul the Tetra fish (who, incidentally, is blue) in July 2010, and he’s still going strong! Although he’s had a few missed clean-up days since DD2 arrived… and he jumped out of the fish bowl once when DH was cleaning it… Hmm… Maybe it’s the whole new sibling tantrum throwing phase thing-y.
December 2010 Update: Unfortunately, Azul has left us. He, erm… jumped out of his bowl overnight…
